.DISCUSSION...

Rounds of showers and thunderstorms can be expected through this
morning with thunderstorms decreasing in the afternoon but rain
showers continuing into this evening.  We could see rainfall totals
of 0.50 to near 1.0 inch across Pueblo county through this evening
which will be a good wetting rain for much of the region.  North winds
will pick up this afternoon behind a cold front, and temperatures today
will be substantially cooler than yesterday.

Sky/weather.........Cloudy until 1300, then partly sunny(67
                    percent). Rain showers and thunderstorms
                    until 1200. Rain showers likely after 1200 with
                    isolated thunderstorms.
LAL.................4 until 1200, then 3 until 1200.
Max temperature.....52F.
Min humidity........54-59 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........North winds 10-14 mph until 1200, then
                    northwest 17-21 mph. Gusty and erratic winds
                    expected near thunderstorms.
Mixing height.......4000 ft agl.
Transport winds.....East around 13 mph until 0900, then northwest
                    around 19 mph.
Smoke dispersal.....Poor until 1300, then good.
Haines Index........3 or very low potential for large plume
