...Increased fire danger across south central North Carolina both
Wednesday and Thursday...

The combination of low relative humidity levels of 25 to 30
percent, and strong, breezy southwesterly winds gusting to 25 to
35 mph, will result in elevated fire danger conditions both
Wednesday and Thursday afternoon across south central NC.

Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Any grass or brush fires
that occur may quickly spread if left unattended. If you do burn,
exercise extreme caution and have fire suppression equipment
close by.
