COUNTIES UNTIL 1015 AM EDT...

At 851 AM EDT, an area of low pressure was moving northward at 25
mph between Fayetteville and Erwin-Dunn. The difference in pressure
between this low and an area of high pressure to our northeast will
cause strong wind gusts close to 40 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Fayetteville, Cary, Goldsboro, Smithfield, Clinton,
Lillington, Fort Bragg and Wilson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Wind gusts as high as 40 mph are capable of knocking down tree limbs
and blowing around trash cans, and other light outdoor objects.
