...A springtime storm to affect western Wyoming later today
through Thursday...

Vigorous spring weather system to impact areas along and west of
the Divide today through Thursday. A little of everything can be
expected today including rain and snow showers in addition to
isolated Thunderstorms capable of producing gusty winds and small
soft hail mainly less than one half inch in size across southwest
Wyoming. Snow levels will rise to above 8000 feet today before
falling to valley floor levels near sunrise on Thursday. Best
accumulating snowfall will occur above 8500 feet where 4 to 8
inches of wet snow will be possible by the end of the day on
Thursday. Local accumulations of 9 to 12 inches may be possible
over portions of the Tetons above 9000 feet when all is said and
done. Winds could gust 35 to 45 mph at times over some ridge-lines
and through some passes later this afternoon evening.
