...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN WASHAKIE COUNTY
UNTIL 415 PM MDT...

At 332 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Winchester, which is 12 miles west of Worland, moving northeast at 10
mph.

Half inch hail will be possible with this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Washakie County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Up to one half to three quarters of an inch
of rainfall could occur in an hour with this storm. Do not drive
your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
