.DISCUSSION...
Shower coverage continues tapering off while a slow moving surface
low weakens and cold front becomes stationary. Low stratus and areas
of dense fog will be possible in the wake of the weakening system.
Today will be warm and drier, with the chance for afternoon showers
and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm across the mountains and
foothills.
The first half of Friday will be dry for most, but rain chances will
increase through the day, with widespread rainfall expected from
later Friday into the weekend. Locations that see heavy rain tonight
will be more vulnerable to water issues from this activity.
