...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NACOGDOCHES...SOUTHWESTERN
SHELBY...ANGELINA...SAN AUGUSTINE AND SOUTHEASTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES
THROUGH 245 PM CDT...

At 157 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Douglass to near Pollok to near Lufkin.
Movement was east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Diboll, Hudson, Huntington, San Augustine, Alto,
Wells, Morrill, Melrose, Martinsville, Bland Lake, Neuville, Woden,
Pollok, Macune, Etoile, Forest, Douglass, and Burke.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
