This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, mainly across western Puerto Rico. Isolated flash floods
possible. Elsewhere, ponding of water in roads and poorly drained
areas is likely.

.Wind...Breezy to windy conditions. Unsecured or outdoor items
could blow around or be damaged.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet and fresh
to locally strong east-northeast winds across most local waters.
Hazardous conditions for small craft.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone, particularly across the northern coastline of Puerto
Rico, from Rincon to Fajardo, as well as for Culebra.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Persistent breezy to windy conditions and a dissipating long-
period northerly swell will maintain elevated marine hazard risk
through Saturday afternoon. Consequently, life-threatening rip
current conditions will persist. While some improvement is
projected during the weekend into early next week, increasing
winds and a long-period northerly swell will deteriorate marine
and beach conditions by Tuesday. The proximity of an upper- level
trough and elevated moisture levels will likely trigger an
increase in showers, accompanied by isolated thunderstorm
activity, thereby increasing the risk of flooding early next week.

about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
