This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...

Another round of showers and storms is expected across eastern
Oklahoma beginning later this afternoon and continuing into tonight.
A thunderstorm or two near the Red River may approach severe levels
with large hail being the threat. The potential for additional heavy
rainfall, focused across far southeast Oklahoma tonight, will exist,
which could lead to localized flooding.

MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
The active weather pattern will continue into Wednesday, with
additional thunderstorms expected through the day, before ending
from west to east Wednesday night. A few storms in southeast
Oklahoma could produce large hail Wednesday afternoon and
evening, as cold temperatures aloft arrive in association with
upper level low pressure moving overhead. The threat for
additional heavy rainfall will also continue through Wednesday
night.

Well above normal temperatures will make a return for the weekend
and along with gusty southerly winds, could lead to localized fire
weather concerns in parts of northeast Oklahoma on Saturday. The
overall threat will be dependent on fuel states, with green-up
well underway in many areas.

The next storm system of interest to the region is on track for
early next week. This system is expected to bring showers and
thunderstorms, at least some potential for severe weather. Details
remain uncertain at this forecast time range.
