The leading edge of a warm front has advanced into the northern
portion of the region bringing unseasonably warm air and some wet
weather. Showers and some embedded thunder will continue to lift
northward and clear out of the Ohio Valley later this evening.
Temperatures will only drop to around 60 degrees tonight setting
up a record breaking day of warmth on Tuesday as temperatures
climb into the 70s under strong southwest flow. Showers and
thunderstorms return on Wednesday morning ahead of a slow moving
cold front that will produce a slight cool down by Wednesday
night. However, temperatures will remain above normal into next
weekend.
