THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE IN SEPTEMBER 2018 WAS WELL ABOVE NORMAL. IN
FACT, THE DEGREE OF WARMTH MADE SEPTEMBER 2018 THE 5HT WARMEST
SEPTEMBER ON RECORD. IT WAS THE WARMEST SEPTEMBER SINCE 2016, WHEN
THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 76.0 DEGREES.

MONTHLY PRECIPITATION WAS 262 PERCENT OF NORMAL. THIS MADE SEPTEMBER
2018 THE 5TH WETTEST ON RECORD. IT WAS THE WETTEST SEPTEMBER SINCE
1999, WHEN 9.73 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FELL.

A DAILY RECORD HIGH MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 95 DEGREES WAS TIED ON
SEPTEMBER 4TH. THIS TIED THE RECORD PREVIOUSLY SET MOST RECENTLY
BACK IN 2008.

A MONTHLY AND DAILY RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 79 DEGREES
WAS ALSO SET ON SEPTEMBER 4TH. THIS BROKE THE DAILY RECORD FOR
SEPTEMBER 4TH OF 76 DEGREES, SET BACK IN 2012. THIS ALSO TIED THE

SEPTEMBER 26TH. THE RECORD WAS PREVIOUSLY SET BACK IN 1970.

1884.
