HIBBING MN...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR MAY WAS 55.3 DEGREES. THIS WAS 4.7
DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 50.6 DEGREES...MAKING THIS TIED WITH
11TH WARMEST MAY IN STATION HISTORY. THE 11TH WARMEST MAY IN STATION
HISTORY IS CURRENTLY 1959. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS
87 DEGREES ON THE 29TH. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE WAS 23 DEGREES 11TH
AND 12TH. ONE DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS BROKEN FOR THE MONTH OF
MAY. ON THE 16TH THE RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 85 DEGREES WAS SET.

MONTH AND WARM TO THE LOW 50S BY THE END OF THE MONTH. NORMAL
PRECIPITATION FOR JUNE IS 4.16 INCHES. THE LATEST CLIMATE PREDICTION
CENTER OUTLOOK INDICATES THAT ODDS ARE TILTED TOWARD ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES AND THERE IS NO CLEAR SIGNAL FOR ABOVE OR BELOW NORMAL
PRECIPITATION.
