.Summary...
August in Little Rock certainly did not live up to its reputation
and its average as typically the second warmest month of the year.
It`s true that, compared to last year, highs were warmer, but they
were still over three degrees below the 30-year average. For the
second year in a row, there were no triple-digit temperatures during
the month. Lows were frequently below 70 degrees, especially during
the first and third weeks of the month.

Rainfall was well above average, and it was the wettest August in
two years.

The average high temperature was the warmest since 2016. The average
low temperature was the coolest since 2009. The average monthly
temperature was the warmest since 2016.

.Daily Temperatures...
Daily temperatures were above average on nine days, average on one
day, and below average on 21 days.

There were 19 days with high temperatures at or above 90 degrees,
which, though the most since 2016, was still below the average of
22.
