.Summary...
What started out as a rather warm month ended below average overall.
Going by average temperature, it was the warmest July in two years.
However, temperatures were close to half a degree below the 30-year
average.

It was the driest July in three years. Rain fell during each week of
the month, but was heaviest around mid-month.

.Monthly Temperatures...
The average high temperature was the warmest since 2016. The average
low temperature was the coolest since 2014. The average monthly
temperature was the warmest since 2016.

.Daily Temperatures...
Daily temperatures were above average on 16 days, average on four
days, and below average on 11 days.

There were 24 days with high temperatures of 90 degrees or greater,
which was the most since 2016.

For the third July in a row, North Little Rock avoided triple-digit
temperatures.

There were nine days with low temperatures at or below 70 degrees,
which was the most since 2014.

July 20th - During the late evening, quarter-sized hail fell with
the passage of a severe thunderstorm.

At North Little Rock, there has been no 100-degree day since August
8, 2015. This marks a stretch of 1,088 consecutive days with no 100-
degree readings as of July 31...which is a record streak. This also
amounts to two years, 11 months, and 23 days. The previous record was
1,080 days from August 9, 2012 to July 24, 2015, or two years, 11
months, and 16 days.
