...Data for Pine Bluff for December 2018...

.Summary...
After a rather cold November, the trend reversed in December, and
the month ended a little over two degrees above the 30-year average.
This made for the warmest December in three years, but nowhere near
record warmth. The coldest period was during much of the first two
weeks, and the warmest period lasted from the latter half of the
second week to nearly the end of the month. There were nine days
with lows at or below freezing, which was the fewest in three years.

Rainfall was heavy at times, and above the 30-year average.
Precipitation was scattered throughout the month, with rain falling
in each week. Even with all this, this December was actually the
driest in two years.

For the second year in a row, snow fell, but was not measurable.

.Monthly Temperatures...
The average high, low, and monthly temperatures were the warmest
since 2015.

.Daily Temperatures...
Daily temperatures were above average on 19 days, below average on
11 days, and average on one day.

Though there were fewer December freezes than in years past, there
was only one 70-degree reading, which was the fewest in four years.

.Daily Record Temperatures Tied or Broken During the Month...
None.

.Monthly Rainfall...
Even though rainfall was above average, it was the driest December
in two years (since 2016).

.Daily Rainfall Records Tied or Broken During the Month...
None.

.Monthly Snowfall...
For the second year in a row, snow fell, but it was not measurable.

.Daily Snowfall Records Tied or Broken...
