.Summary...
At Pine Bluff, September was warmer and significantly wetter than average.
Low temperatures were some of the warmest in 20 years, while highs were
the coolest in six years.

Due to slow-moving, repeated rain storms during the month, rainfall ended
up over nine and a half inches above average. It was the wettest September
in 105 years, and the 2nd wettest September since records began 135 years
ago.

.Monthly Temperatures...
The average high temperature was the coolest since 2012. The average low
temperature, however, was the warmest since 1998. The average monthly
temperature was the warmest since 2016.

.Daily Temperatures...
Daily temperatures were above average on 19 days, average on one day, and
below average on ten days.

There were 13 days with temperatures of 90 degrees or warmer, which was the
most since 2016.

There were three days with rainfall two inches or higher, which was the most

Sep 21 - A strong thunderstorm produced a 55 MPH wind gust at the Pine Bluff
Airport. This set a record for the highest wind gust for the month of
September. The previous record was 47 MPH on September 3, 2008.
