...Data for North Little Rock for Winter 2017-2018...

.Summary...
Thanks largely to very cold weather in late December and early January,
this was the coldest winter in several years. Also, due largely to
heavy rainfall during the fourth week of December and during much of the
latter half of February, this was the wettest winter in 30 years, and the
wettest winter since records began. It is quite a contrast from achieving
the driest fall on record in 2017.

For the second year in a row, snowfall was below average, but it was still
more than was recorded last year.

.Seasonal Temperatures...
The average high, low and seasonal temperatures were the coldest since 2014-
2015.

There were 43 days with low temperatures at or below freezing, which was
the most since the winter of 2013-2014.

There were eight days with high temperatures at or below freezing, which
was the most since the winter of 2013-2014.

There were 11 days with low temperatures at or below 20 degrees, which
was the most since the winter of 2013-2014.

There were three days with low temperatures at or below 10 degrees,
which was the most since the winter of 2013-2014.

The coldest temperature during the winter was 7 degrees above zero,
which was the coldest winter temperature since 1995-1996.

.Seasonal Rainfall...
There were 37 days with measurable rainfall, which was the most since the
winter of 1988-1989, and tied 1988-1989 and 1978-1979 for the most on record
during the winter season. Due largely to record February rainfall, the total
for the season was nearly twice the 30-year average. This made it the wettest
winter since 1987-1988, and the wettest winter on record at North Little Rock.
The previous record was 19.92 inches, which was set in 1987-1988.

.Seasonal Snowfall...
Similar to the previous two winters, there were four days with snowfall. Two
of those days had measurable snow. The total snowfall was well below average,
but it was still the snowiest winter since 2015-2016.
