* Southwest Idaho BLM (ID Zones 400, 420, 423, 424, 426)...Hot
and dry conditions today, except for isolated showers and
thunderstorms along the Nevada border this afternoon. Drier air
in place will result in lower afternoon relative humidity,
dipping to 10-20%. Expect locally breezy conditions today and
tomorrow afternoons and evening with gusts to 20 mph. Showers
and thunderstorms will redevelop near the Nevada border Monday,
gradually increasing through Wednesday. Monsoonal moisture will
bring the potential for gusty winds and heavy rain. A trough
late in the week will push moisture out, drying RHs and bringing
gusts 25-35 mph in the afternoon.
* Southwest Idaho Forest (ID Zones 401, 402, 403, 421)...Hot and
dry conditions today. Drier air in place will result in lower
afternoon relative humidity, dipping to 15-25%. Expect breezy
ridgeline winds this afternoon with gusts 15-25 mph. Breezes
increase late Monday across the western Payette with gusts 20-35
mph. Isolated showers return late tonight into Monday with a
minimal chance of lightning. Shower and thunderstorm coverage
increases Tuesday and further expands Wednesday. Monsoonal
moisture will bring the potential for gusty winds and heavy
rain. A trough late in the week will push moisture out, drying
RHs and bringing gusts 25-35 mph in the afternoon.
* Southeast Oregon (OR Zones 670-675)...Hot and dry conditions
today, with afternoon relative humidity dipping to 10-20%. Winds
will be breezy late this afternoon into tonight across Baker
Valley and northern Vale with gusts 15-25 mph. Breezes increase
late Monday in these areas with gusts 20-35 mph. Isolated
showers return late tonight into Monday with a minimal chance of
lightning. Shower and thunderstorm coverage increases Tuesday
and further expands Wednesday. Monsoonal moisture will bring the
potential for gusty winds and heavy rain. A trough late in the
week will push moisture out, drying RHs and bringing gusts 25-35
