MONDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

Good morning. This afternoon, winds are expected to be from the east
at about 12 to 15 mph with gusts in the 20 to 25 mph range. Winds will
increase this evening beginning around 6 PM EDT and peak at 25 mph by
midnight with gusts in the 35 to 40 mph range. Winds will then decrease
in the early morning hours before sunrise and sustained winds will be
about 10 mph with gusts between 15 and 20 mph by 9 AM tomorrow morning
and continue to decrease into the afternoon. Widespread showers are
anticipated throughout the rest of the day today and Monday before
tapering off during the afternoon tomorrow. There is also a slight
chance of thunder associated with these showers tonight and into
tomorrow morning.
