...SNOW INCREASES INTENSITY DURING EARLY MORNING...
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT...

WEATHER...

 * Snow will increase intensity from Owosso to the Tri Cities and
   then spread quickly across the Thumb region between 700 AM and
   900 AM. Patchy drizzle and freezing drizzle precedes the snow
   with temperatures hovering around the freezing mark.

 * Snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is expected across the
   region during the peak morning travel period.

IMPACTS...

 * Bursts of snow will limit visibility for motorists and require
   slower travel.

 * Wet roads may become snow covered and slippery particularly on
   bridges, exit ramps and overpasses.
