...A HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW BAND WILL MOVE ACROSS THE KEWEENAW
PENINSULA SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY EVENING...

A HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW BAND WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND
MOVE ACROSS THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA AS IT SLOWLY MOVES SOUTHWARD
ACROSS THE AREA. AT THIS TIME, IT IS HARD TO PINPOINT WHERE IT
WILL END UP, BUT SNOWFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES AN HOUR ARE
POSSIBLE WITH TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 7 INCHES
EXPECTED SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. THE HEAVIEST
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WOULD BE SOUTH OF HOUGHTON IN THE HIGHER
TERRAIN.
