...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WEST CENTRAL COKE AND
NORTHEASTERN STERLING COUNTIES UNTIL 545 PM CDT...

At 513 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles northeast of Sterling City, moving southeast at 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Coke
and northeastern Sterling Counties, including the following
locations... The Intersection Of Highway 158 And Ranch Road 2059.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
