...Pockets of Dense Fog Lingering Through around 9 AM...

Through roughly 9 AM, varying pockets of fog will persist within
portions of central and south central Nebraska, particularly
within counties along and west of Highway 281, and including the
Tri Cities. Visibility will be highly variable, ranging from only
light fog in some places, to patches of dense fog reducing
visibility to 1/4 mile or less in others.

Given that the coverage of truly dense fog is somewhat limited
within the area as a whole, and that it is expected to last less
than 2 additional hours in most places, a formal Dense Fog
Advisory is not being issued. However, please use caution this
morning if encountering any dense fog while driving. Slow down,
use our headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
