This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A cold front will move through the area today with gusty
northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph developing behind it. The gusty
winds combined with a dry air mass will create high to very high
fire danger across the area this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

High to very high fire danger will develop across portions of the
area again Friday afternoon.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible Sunday night
into Wednesday. A few severe storms appear possible, especially
Monday night, Tuesday afternoon and evening, and Wednesday
afternoon and evening.

Storm spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
