.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...It will be a little drier
today but another round of showers and thunderstorms will develop
in the afternoon. Temperatures will still be below seasonal
normals and there is still a chance of wetting rains in most
areas into this evening. There will be decent northwesterly wind
gusts up to 35 mph over the plains, but critical fire weather
conditions are not expected.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday through Thursday...Other than rain
and snow showers over the northern mountains late Monday night and
early Tuesday, dry conditons will prevail to start off the week.
It will also be breezy over the mountains, foothills, and far
northern plains Monday and Tuesday. Weather patterns starts to
turn cooler and possibly wetter Wednesday as the next storm
system tracks through the region.
