.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A strong disturbance aloft will bring a threat of thunderstorms
tonight through Saturday. A surface trough to the northwest of
Kauai will expand southward over the island chain tonight through
Sunday. The trough will dampen and shift west of the islands
early next week as high pressure builds to the distant northeast.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-


.TONIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Wave
Detail: East 4 feet at 7 seconds and south southwest 3 feet at
16 seconds. Scattered showers with a slight chance of
thunderstorms.
.FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT...East southeast winds 10 to 15 knots
windward waters. Variable winds to 15 knots leeward waters. Seas
4 to 6 feet. Wave Detail: East 4 feet at 6 seconds, north
northwest 4 feet at 10 seconds and south southwest 3 feet at 15
seconds. Scattered showers with a chance of thunderstorms.
.SATURDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Wave
Detail: East 3 feet at 7 seconds, north northwest 3 feet at
9 seconds and south southwest 3 feet at 15 seconds. Scattered
showers. Slight chance of thunderstorms Big Island waters.
.SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots.
Seas 3 to 5 feet. Scattered showers.
.MONDAY AND TUESDAY...East southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4
to 6 feet. Isolated showers.
