Weather hazards expected... Limited hail risk. Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk. Limited lightning risk. Limited excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION... Showers and thunderstorms may impact portions of western Missouri and far southeastern Kansas late tonight (after 10 PM) into the early morning hours (before 8 AM). Any storms are expected to be sub-severe, though small hail and an isolated damaging wind gust could occur along the MO/KS border. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. There is a conditional threat for showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon (15-30% chance) north of Highway 32/I-44. If storms do form, a few could be capable of small hail and an isolated damaging wind gust or two. Thunderstorm chances increase Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening bringing a greater potential for severe weather. Damaging winds will be the main threat with these storms, but large hail, a spinup tornado or two, and flooding are secondary threats. Daily 30-50% chances for showers and thunderstorms exist through the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
