.DISCUSSION...

A frontal boundary passing across the region today will bring
increasing northwesterly winds with gusts of 25 to 35 mph. Much of
the area will see humidity values drop below 30 percent by
this afternoon.

Westerly winds are forecast on Saturday, switching to north-
northwest on Sunday. Relative humidity is forecast to fall to
between 25 and 35 percent both days.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Saturday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
