Spot Forecast for Ft Eisenhower Prescribed Burn Planning...Department Of Defense

.DISCUSSION...Today is forecast to remain dry across the burn location,
with the best chance for showers and storm remaining off to the north
through the day.  Temperatures will climb well above normal, with highs
around 90 and heat index values in the mid 90s.  Low-level winds out of
the southwest, with transport winds more westerly today. A shallow low-level
inversion should be breaking by 10 am, with a dry adiabatic mixing layer
going up to 5000 feet developing through late morning.  Inversion sets
back up by 8 pm.  Rain chances will be on the increase tonight.  Potential
for organized severe convection on Thursday.
