...HAZARDOUS THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE COASTAL WATERS...

At 459 PM EDT, thunderstorms were located along a line extending from
9 nm northwest of Altamaha Sound to near Saint Catherines Sound,
moving east at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Winds up to 30 knots.

  IMPACT...Expect briefly stronger winds and suddenly higher waves.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and poor visibility in heavy rain. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Put on a
