Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Glasgow MT

.DISCUSSION...
Airmass will gradually warm into Thursday then a system will
spread rain but mostly snow for area north and east of Glasgow
Thursday Night. Temps then cool into Friday and the weekend with
chances of snow returning. Temps look to rebound next week as an
upper ridge begins moving in.

Clear skies are expected tonight then strong late March sunshine
should help modify the airmass into Thursday. Temps will be close
to normal in places.

Thursday Night...the Pacific system that moves in will bring rain
to the SW half of the CWA Thursday evening but transition to snow
over the NE zones during the overnight. Accumulation to an inch is
expected in Plentywood and Scobey with lower amounts elsewhere.

A moist/unsettled SW flow will continue through the weekend that
brings a chance of snow to the area. Temps will be below normal.

Early next week...an upper ridge pushes in and closes off a low
over the Desert SW. Look for sunshine and a warming trend. TFJ
