This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

This afternoon, near-critical fire weather conditions are likely
across the outlook area. This will be due to the combination of
north-northwest winds gusting 20 to 40 MPH, and relative humidity
as low as 15 to 30 percent.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Thunderstorm chances return Wednesday night into Thursday and
continue off and on through the weekend. Some storms Thursday
late evening and overnight may be strong to severe, especially
near and south of Interstate 80. Severe storms may continue into
the day on Friday.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
