Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
337 AM CDT Tue May 7 2024

From the late evening through the overnight hours, weak high
pressure shifted east across the eastern and central Great Lakes,
while low pressure moved northeast over the northern Plains.
Severe thunderstorms rocked areas from southwest Minnesota to
western Missouri ahead of the low and associated cold front. But
over northeast Wisconsin, skies were mostly clear with a light
southeast wind. Temperatures at 3 am ranged from the upper 40s to
middle 50s.

For today, periods of rain and some thunderstorms will lift
northeast across the region. A few strong or possibly a severe
storm will be possible from late afternoon to early evening over
central Wisconsin and the southern Fox Valley. Be sure to have
multiple ways to receive warning information.

A wide range in temperatures is expected for today due to the
rainfall occurring during peak heating, with highs ranging from
the low 50s to the middle 60s.
