...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN YORK AND
NORTHEASTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...

At 926 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles northwest of York, or near Smyrna, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
York, Sharon, Hickory Grove, Smyrna, Kings Mountain State Park,
Clover, Kings Creek, and Bethany.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
