Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
High pressure NE of the waters will drift E as a front approaches
the offshore waters from the NW. The front will weaken into a
trough over the central waters. An upper low will move across the
area Thursday through Sunday, bringing potential thunderstorms.

spreading to all waters Friday.
.SATURDAY...E winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Isolated
thunderstorms NE waters.
.SUNDAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 19N, E 15 to 25 kt elsewhere.
