...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL CHERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 515 PM CDT...

At 422 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Valentine National Wildlife Refuge, or 19 miles south of Valentine,
moving west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Valentine National Wildlife Refuge and Merritt Reservoir.

This includes Highway 97 between mile markers 102 and 117.
