For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure strengthens to 30.20 inches
over the central Great Lakes today. Low pressure moves in from
the Midwest tonight into Wednesday with easterly gales likely
across northern Lake Huron. A cold front moves through Friday
with weaker westerly winds through the weekend.

EVENING...

.REST OF TODAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.TONIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the east
late in the evening...then increasing to 15 to 20 knots with
gusts to 35 knot gales after midnight increasing to 20 to
25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales early in the morning. A
chance of showers after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to
8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds to 30 knots with gusts to 40 knot gales.
Showers. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
35 knot gales decreasing to 5 to 10 knots. Showers. Waves 10 to
14 feet subsiding to 6 to 9 feet after midnight. Waves
occasionally around 18 feet.
.THURSDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots becoming west 10 to
15 knots late in the morning...then decreasing to 5 to 10 knots
late in the afternoon backing to the southeast late in the
evening. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet late in the
afternoon.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming west 10 to
15 knots. A chance of showers early in the morning. Waves 1 to
3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet until early morning.
.SATURDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 15 to
20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet.

building to 4 to 6 feet in the late evening and overnight. Waves
occasionally around 8 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around
30 knots. Isolated gusts to 35 knot gales. Showers. Waves 6 to 9
