Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
145 PM CDT Wed Apr 24 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Moisture has increased and winds will remain light. This will
keep the region from reaching critical fire weather thresholds.
Fog will be possible tonight and perhaps again Thursday night,
but overall fog appears to be patchy and shallow in nature.
That said, in fog favored locations cannot rule out a few
dense patches. No rain is expected as well through the
weekend with the best chance of finally seeing a wetting rain
early next week.
