...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON AND SOUTHWESTERN ST. LOUIS COUNTIES...

At 534 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Byrnes Mill,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This tornado will be near...
  Fenton, Byrnes Mill, Murphy, and High Ridge around 540 PM CDT.
  Arnold, Sunset Hills, Mehlville, Oakville, Concord, and Sappington
  around 545 PM CDT.
  Lakeshire, Affton, and Green Park around 550 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Lemay and St. George.

This also includes Route 66 State Park and Mastodon Historic Site.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 264 and 269.
 Interstate 55 in Missouri between exits 187 and 191.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
