...The National Weather Service in Mobile AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...Florida...

  Yellow River At Milligan affecting Okaloosa, Covington and Santa
  Rosa Counties.

For the Yellow River...including Milligan...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT TO EARLY SUNDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Yellow River at Milligan.

* WHEN...From late Friday night to early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some homes downstream of the U.S. Highway
  90 bridge and along A.L. Gillam Road begin to flood. Evacuations
  are necessary if higher stages are expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 1.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 10.3 feet early tomorrow
    afternoon. It will then fall to 8.9 feet Friday morning. It
    will rise above flood stage early Saturday morning to 14.0
    feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage late Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
