...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Northwesterly winds have returned in wake of a cold front moving
across the region. They will become gusty Friday afternoon and
remain so throughout the weekend. Northwesterly gusts look to stay
within the 25 to 30 mph range with isolated stronger gusts up to
40 mph possible in elevated terrain. With this cold frontal
passage, light drizzle is possible throughout the Bay Area
associated but accumulations are not expected to meet the wetting
rain threshold. Cooler, below average temperatures continue through
Friday with drier, warmer conditions expected by mid to late
weekend amd into early next week.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Showers will continue today mainly in Del Norte and Humboldt
counties. A few showers will make it farther south and east. Snow
levels are expected to be around 5,000 feet. Breezy north winds are
expected over the higher terrain this afternoon and evening,
especially in Mendocino and Lake counties. For the weekend and into
next week mainly dry and cool conditions are expected, although a
few rain showers are possible Saturday afternoon in Humbodlt and
Del Norte counties.
