Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front is exiting the basin. Moderate to fresh
winds prevail behind of the front in the eastern Gulf along with
rough seas. As the front continues moving farther from the
basin, conditions will improve over the eastern basin by this
afternoon. High pressure will build in the wake of the front.
Strong winds will pulse off the northwest Yucatan in the evening
today and Sat. Otherwise, moderate to fresh winds with slight to
moderate seas can be expected through the weekend.
