...Reduced Visibilities in Blowing Dust...

Spotters reported that blowing dust is occasionally reducing the
visibility to under a half mile along portions of Highway 67 south
of Poplar Bluff Missouri this afternoon. Gusty south southeast
winds in excess of 40 mph will continue to create a blowing dust
hazard over the flatlands of far southeast Missouri through
sunset. Drivers in this area should be prepared for sudden loss
of visibility to under a half mile, especially near freshly plowed
fields. A large area of rain will overspread the area by sunset
and greatly reduce the blowing dust potential.
