Past 24 hour precipitation...
Scattered showers and thudnerstorms produced moderate to heavy
rainfall across the region over the past 24 hours. Totals ranged
from 0.20 to 2.00 inches, with the higher totals confined to southeast
Ohio, northern West Virginia, and southwest Pennsylvania where heavier
thunderstorms occurred.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from 1.0 to 2.5 inches.

River trends...
Area rivers and streams are forecast to rise into next week with repeated
rounds of rainfall. Rises up to 4 to 7 feet from current stages are
possible by Thursday with points in the Monongahela, Cheat, and
Ohio Basins forecast to reach close to or at action stage where the
heaviest rainfall is expected. Crests appear likely on Wednesday into
Thursday.
