...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING
TO 11 AM PDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 18
  inches, up to 2 to 2.5 feet at the highest peaks. Winds gusting
  as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Western Plumas County/Lassen Park and West Slope
  Northern Sierra Nevada Counties above 5500 feet, including
  Interstate 80 over Donner Summit and Highway 50 over Echo
  Summit.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 11 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult from delays, snow-
  covered roads, and chain controls. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the morning or evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels 5000 to 6000 feet becoming 4000
  to 4500 feet Thursday morning. Heaviest snow Wednesday evening
  into early Thursday morning. Lingering, light snow showers
  Thursday afternoon. A second round of snow is expected Friday
  through Saturday bringing minor to moderate travel impacts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

your vehicle in case of an emergency.
