GMZ400-130700- 1258 PM CST Fri Dec 12 2025 .Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays... Guidance has trended toward areas of fog developing with warm dewpoints moving over cooler shelf and lake waters tonight. A marine dense fog advisory is possible tonight. Winds offshore will remain out of the south with varying SE components through early Saturday afternoon. Occasional showers are possible this evening and Saturday, but coverage appears limited. Overnight Saturday into Sunday a very robust cold front will push offshore. Gale Watch may necessary for this period, but at the very least Small Craft Advisory criteria will be well exceeded including lakes and bays.
