.Discussion...
High pressure will remain in control through at least
early next week, with the east coast sea breeze forecast
to form and push inland each day. The sea breeze collision
is expected to occur across the western interior and into the
western portion of the peninsula Sunday, and more to the east
across our interior on Monday. Isolated to scattered showers and
isolated lightning storms are forecast each afternoon along the
sea breeze, mainly west of Interstate 95, and at the sea breeze
collision. Additional showers will be possible along the coast
in the morning and into early afternoon each day in the onshore
flow. Winds will increase to 8-12 KT with the sea breeze with
gusts up to 20 KT possible. Min RH values will be in the upper
30s to low 40s each afternoon over the interior and hold near
55 percent along the coast. Smoke dispersion values will be
good to very good Sunday and Monday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
