Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Wyoming and WRN South Dakota
National Weather Service Rapid City SD
411 AM MDT Tue Apr 24 2018

.DISCUSSION...A spring storm system will continue to bring rain,
snow, and gusty winds to the area through much of the day. Up to
a few inches of snowfall is likely across parts of far
northeastern Wyoming, northwestern South Dakota, and the northern
Black Hills area, with the higher elevations of the northern Black
Hills receiving up to 4 inches. Most of northwest South Dakota
will see around half an inch of precipitation from the system.
Areas further to the south will likely see some rainfall, but
amounts will be relatively light. Gusty northwesterly winds are
also expected today. Mild and mainly dry weather is expected for
the rest of the week.
