...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Isolated light showers will linger through tonight as an upper low
moves slowly inland. A warming and drying trend is then forecast
through the long holiday weekend as high pressure builds over
California. Cooling is then expected by the middle of next week as
an upper trough develops near the West Coast.

...Discussion from SFOFWFSTO...

Low pressure over Norcal will shift eastward this weekend limiting
showers and thunderstorms to the Sierra crest and allowing for a
warming trend. Dry and very warm weather is expected early next week
with daytime highs some 10 to 15 degrees above normal. Slightly
cooler temperatures are expected by the middle of next week with
mountain showers returning.
