This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Slow moving thunderstorms this afternoon will produce periods of heavy
rainfall, which could lead to localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

A very moist air mass will continue across Central Alabama next
week. A tropical system moving northward across the Gulf of Mexico
will bring an enhanced threat for heavy rainfall as early as Sunday
night across southern portions of the forecast area, and continuing
through Tuesday. The potential for localized flooding will increase
Sunday night, and become more widespread by Monday.

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management is not
expected at this time.
