...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Neuse and Bay Rivers...
  Pamlico Sound...
  Pamlico and Pungo Rivers...

At 929 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 11 nm northwest of Blounts Bay to
near Mid Point Of South Creek, moving south at 10 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Hobucken, Blounts Bay, The Mouth Of The Neuse River, The Vicinity Of
Bath Creek and Mid Point Of South Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
